What is Biomass Energy?
Biomass is an alternative, sustainable fuel source compared to the rapidly dwindling sources of fossil fuels such as gas and coal. Biomass fuel consists of plants, tree, energy crop, agricultural residue or food waste.

Renewable Heat Incentive
Heating and energy is changing in the UK. In order to become more energy efficient, the government has launched the Renewable Heat Incentive to generate 15% of the UK’s energy in the next few years.
You could be paid hundreds of pounds a year for generating heat by solar thermal panels, biomass boilers and heat pumps.
Through the RHI scheme the government pays your heating bills. You can earn up to 12p per Kw/h. Many people have started earning money through the scheme, businesses can earn much, much more.
